Overview
The second generation Range Rover was produced until 2002. It has become very popular among businessmen, show business stars, athletes, politicians and other successful people who prefer comfort and reliability. According to many motorists who owned various premium SUVs, it was the 1996 Range Rover that was the unrivaled leader at that time.
Engines
In total, 1996 Range Rover had 3 types of engines:
• Diesel 2.5 liters for 136 horsepower;
• Petrol 4.0 liters for 190 horsepower;
• Petrol 4.5 liters for 226 horsepower.
Gasoline units already had direct multipoint injection. Gearboxes were put in two types: 5-speed manual and 4-band automatic.
