Overview
2023 Range Rover is an updated 5-door all-wheel drive premium class SUV from the British manufacturer. The car became a representative of the third generation of crossovers. The changes affected the car platform, and the manufacturer also announced an electric version in the lineup.
Design features
The car received a high transverse line, and the racks with a large angle of inclination remained traditional. The exterior is dominated by muscularity and solidity, which is emphasized by elegant tapered LED headlights. Each element complements and harmonizes with the overall design solution. The niche for the license plate at the stern has moved lower. The rear lights have a narrowed shape and have merged into a single line with the inscription on the trunk door.
In the salon, attention is drawn to the luxurious interior and premium materials in the decoration. You can choose a leather interior, or upholstery made of eco-materials, wooden decorative elements, and high-quality textiles. The number of chairs depends on the configuration and can reach 7 pieces. The third row of seats has limited space and is suitable for children.
A 13.1-inch virtual instrument panel is located in front of the driver, and a 13.7-inch touchscreen of the multimedia system is placed on the central console. A wireless charging pad for a smartphone and a Meridian speaker system with 29 speakers are optionally available.
The seat can be easily adjusted in 20 positions. Even the basic configuration received seats with heating, ventilation, and memory functions.
Specifications
For the 2023 Range Rover, several options for power units are planned. A V-shaped 8-cylinder engine with double turbocharging and a working volume of 4.4 liters produces a power of up to 523 hp. The SUV can be obtained with turbocharged gasoline 3-liter 6-cylinder engines that have 360 or 400 “horses” under the hood. For those who prefer diesel engines, a 3-liter turbodiesel with a power of 300 and 350 horsepower is provided.
The hybrid powertrain, which consists of a 31.8 kWh battery and a 141-horsepower electric motor, has a range of 48 miles. The manufacturer claims that the charging period of 80 percent is less than an hour.
Security systems
In addition to standard options, the updated SUV received a 3D all-round camera, lane-keeping monitoring, driver fatigue monitoring, parking assistant, emergency braking systems, and others.
