Overview

All 2020 Range Rover engines are paired with eight-speed ZF fluid mechanics. As always, the drive is transmitted to both axles (by the way, the rear one is equipped with an electronically locking differential by default), but now, to save fuel, the clutch that connects the front wheels can be opened.

Standard equipment for the car is air suspension, which is paired with adaptive, controlled by a 48-volt system, and anti-roll bars. They are able to generate up to 1400 Nm of resistance, smoothing out the rolls of the car. The declared ground clearance is 219 mm, but to overcome obstacles, the suspension can increase the ground clearance to 295 mm.

Some features of the fifth Range Rover deserve special attention. So, all doors can be equipped with electric drives for opening and closing, controlled by buttons. Each car headlight consists of 1.2 million micro-mirrors capable of cutting out up to 16 objects on the road at the same time. The top audio system is the 1600-watt Meridian Signature, which has 35 speakers (two of which are built into each of the four main headrests). It is also important that more than 70 modules that control the car’s electronics can be updated over the air – this will allow the car to regularly receive the latest software.
