The 2021 Land Rover Defender interior, it seems, somehow sends back to the past, but is still made according to all modern canons: digital tidy, advanced PIVI Pro infotainment system, and leather interior. An interesting solution is to transfer the “joystick” of the automatic transmission to the central panel, thanks to which, for an extra charge, you can install a reclining seat for a third passenger, which is undoubtedly a reference to the first Land Rover models. By the way, the new “Def” can be five, six, or eight-seater. Trunk volume, in this case, will be 231 liters for the third row, 646 liters for the second, and 2380 liters with the seats folded down.
Yes, and in terms of equipment, the new Defender is easily able to compete with the flagship of the brand – Range Rover. In its arsenal: matrix light, keyless entry with start button, dual-zone climate control, head-up display, panorama, 360 cameras, adaptive cruise, transparent hood function, additional camera for the rear-view mirror, and all modern security systems and assistants.
Already in the base, the car is equipped with air suspension, which allows the car to increase the ground clearance to 291 mm from the standard 218 mm. And that is not all. In an extreme situation the 2021 Land Rover Defender using all the suspension moves, can rise another 70 mm for a short time, and in loading mode, on the contrary, fall 50 mm below the standard position.
