Overview
The list of the standard equipment of the restyled 2013 Land Rover Discovery includes a Ford depth control system, a reverse collision warning function, as well as blind spot monitoring, and traffic monitoring systems at T-junctions. In addition, the base eight-speaker audio system now delivers 380 watts of power, and even more powerful “music” can be ordered as an option – Meridian with 17 speakers and 825 watts of power.
The engine range of 2013 Land Rover Discovery has also undergone modernization. In particular, the 3-liter diesel V6, although it retained its previous power at the level of 256 hp. s., is now equipped with a Start-Stop system, due to which it consumes less fuel (8 liters instead of 8.8) and is less harmful to the environment (213 g / km instead of 230). In addition, it should be noted that the former 375-horsepower 5-liter gasoline V8 gave way to a 3-liter V6 with a capacity of 340 “horses” (450 Nm).
The SUV with such a power unit accelerates to 100 km / h in 8.1 seconds, and its maximum speed is 195 km / h. All engines are taught to work with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, and a new single-stage transfer case has appeared as an option (the traditional two-stage has also remained).
