Overview
As always, the appearance is characterized by restraint and conciseness. The architecture of the 2003 Land Rover Discovery compared to the previous generation is the same. Here, more attention is paid to the little things. The headlights have been replaced, the grille has changed slightly, and the bumpers have also changed. Plastic lining and arches also changed their style a bit.
High-quality factory anti-corrosion treatment can be distinguished. Rust can only show up if the owner does not remove the resulting chips or scratches. Problems here may be with the lock of the upper flap of the luggage compartment, with fog optics, and with the lock of the gas tank cap.
The style inside, though, is minimalist yet luxurious. In the top modifications, the elements are sheathed in leather, and soft plastic is used on the dashboard. And in the most expensive trim levels, there are elements made of natural wood. There is a very high level of sound insulation. Extra creaks and sounds are almost inaudible. Places inside are designed for 7 people. But the third row is somewhat uncomfortable, it has little legroom, so it will be inconvenient for tall passengers. In the center of the console, as always in the spirit of minimalism, with a climate control unit and radio. The problem is that the radio often fails and has to be replaced with a new one.
