The 2008 Land Rover Freelander is equipped with keyless entry, a start-stop button, and a system of compact and useful niches for storing small items.
The 2008 Land Rover Freelander uses a 440-watt Alpine audio system that includes 14 speakers. A 7-inch touchscreen navigation screen is provided for the standard version. The car also received a 5-inch multimedia display. Improved models are equipped with a Meridian system with 17 speakers.
For the updated model, 2 new variants of power units are provided. The standard configuration uses a diesel in-line “four” with a working volume of 2.2 liters, which produces up to 160 horsepower. Also available is a gasoline 6-cylinder in-line engine with a volume of 3.2 liters and 230 “horses” under the hood. The power units are combined with an automatic 6-range gearbox.
The unique Terrain Response system improves off-road handling and optimizes traction.
Safety and comfort systems
In addition, a list of comfort systems and additional functions is provided for the car: windshield heating, windshield washer, adaptive front light, and heated seats.
The safety of passengers and the driver is ensured by pillows and side curtains, three-point belts with tensioners, ABS, traction control, and stability control.
